Music Loving Family x 10

Ours is probably one of the few places you can hear; Irish Washerwoman, Bach's Third Cello Suite (on the piano), Red Haired Boy, and Amazing Grace going at the same time. Oh, and Erin likes to throw Row Row your Boat in.

Music is fun, pretty, but sometimes a little annoying!!! :)

Packing - The first part of Camping

The first (and hardest) part of a trip is the packing. Oh, the anxiety of it all!!! Will we forget something? Will we need something we forgot we needed? Will it rain? Will something break? Will Michael get stuck or cut and we have to go get stitches in the middle of packing?

You pack clothes, food, dishes, plates, soap, tents, beds, blankets, lamps, and other stuff.

Oh, have we forgotten something?

Ryan was a super packer and he was worn out. Although he was not as tired as he made it appear in this photo!

Rachel did above and beyond the call of duty. She packed and packed and packed and packed and then slept the whole way to TN.

Our family van - we call it the "Green Bean" - and the trailer. They both deserve special credit!!!'

More tomorrow! Jessica

A Lost History

Yesterday we went to our great grandmother's house for lunch. While we were there Daddy found the old 8mm film reels and projector. WOW. Years of family history in black and white with no sound are recorded on these reels.

Her small cramped writing has neatly labeled them for years and years as her family grew.

A Lost History of family memories and loved ones. Makes you think, doesn't it?

Jessica

P.S.

More photos and sentimentality tomorrow :)
