Music Loving Family x 10

Ours is probably one of the few places you can hear; Irish Washerwoman, Bach's Third Cello Suite (on the piano), Red Haired Boy, and Amazing Grace going at the same time. Oh, and Erin likes to throw Row Row your Boat in.

Music is fun, pretty, but sometimes a little annoying!!! :)

Lessons and Carols

An odd assortment of photos I know, but a man at church had taken these photos of our lessons and carols service. We loved it so much (even though we did have to sing twice!! :) We also had many additions to our orchestra (including Mr. and Mrs. Flanniken and their children)

Thank you everyone! The music that night was something I still smile to think of!

The Cello Lesson

Third Sister and Baby Brother decided to play cello. Actually Third Sister and I were playing and Baby Brother pulled out Second Sister's Violin. So Third Sister stopped and taught him.

First they pulled it out.

Then they tightened it a "tiny bit".

He tested the rosin.

He didn't know what she was talking about.
"The G Scale???"

He Tuned.

And he played!!!

Baby Brother Loves Cello.

Second Sister named hers Faith.

Just Kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding!
Yesterday we bought a violin off of crag's list!
A new member to our violin family.
It is very nice.
The case is brown. It has a lock, space for 2 bows, a very large pocket inside and a large music pocket out side, and a E string case -thank you Bethany!-
The violin has a wooden chin rest, pegs, and tailpiece.
Anyway I've got to get ready for our trip to Land Between The Lakes{It's in Kentucky}.
-Erin
P.S. I will post more on the violin later I'm just in a rush.
