What a Friend
There are some hymns and/or pieces of hymns that make me tingle. I LOVE hymns. Like... LOVE hymns, but some I really love. Like this one... so simple, sweet, and special.
What a Friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.
Oh what peace we often forfeit
oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer
Lord willing I will talk about each line in the coming week.

What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.
Oh what peace we often forfeit

All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer

She is everything I need
What I want to be when I'm married
and what my mommy is to daddy.
She's everything I ever wanted
and everything I need
When I talk about her I go on and on and on.
Cause she's everything to me.
and what my mommy is to daddy.
She's everything I ever wanted
and everything I need
When I talk about her I go on and on and on.
Cause she's everything to me.

Erin and Rachel take a Tumble
Erin was supposed to trip in this scene, that would cause Rachel to laugh at her and would demonstrate the enmity that is still between them. Well, Erin tried... but she fell and nearly tore her new dress/costume. Needless, to say I decided to find a better way to display what I needed to show. (Without killing my cast)

Date Night
Around here "date night" for Mommy and Daddy are very few and far between. So, they walk to the compost pile together!! Alone and quiet. Enjoying the only moment of peace they get all day. There are eight kids after all!!
At all costs, we kids preserve this time. You must plead your case before a jury of older siblings as to your reason for disturbing mom and dad. If you are found guilty of not having a good reason you are severely punished.... TICKLING.
So there you have it! Date night around here!!

Unloved and Unwanted
It grew up tall
and considered
by most
to be
a
weed.
Unloved
unwanted
it grew
and bloomed
but for what end
No hope
it just knew
to grow
the Lord
instilled in it
the desire
to grow
No hope
until
tiny feet
cut and
bruised
tiny feet
soft
and
sweet
warm breath
and
blue eyes
soft
warm
and
slightly
dirty hands
they reached
they grabbed
and the took
hold
they bent the
stem
and damaged
the leaves
the bloom closed
up
He knew not
what he had
done
He did it in love
took the life of
a
flower
that his mom would
know
how much
he loved her
and
what he thought
of her
He carried
it in his
hands
Dirty,
sweaty,
and
smelling of little boy
He gave it to
her
and she kissed
him
that was what he wanted
her kiss
her love
her smile
She put it in the
vase
No hope
the bloom would
return
but smiling at
the love
it was brought with
Later
that day
a smile lights
her face
she sees
him in
the yard
playing and
beside her
in the vase
it opens
and sheds
once more
some creamy
yellow on the
world
a weed
unloved
unwanted
picked
by a son
for his mother
loved
wanted
the insignificant
become significant
and life
goes on.

The Stills
These are all the production stills from the film so far. Some are better than others and some are funny while others are straight from a scene. But, ALL are funny!

Here you go!!
We filmed with Michael, in the woods, in the crawlspace, and up trees. However, we always had fun.
How Beautiful
How beautiful the hands that served
the wine and the bread and the sons of the earth
How beautiful the feet that walked
the long dusty road and the hill to the cross
(Refrain)
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful.
How Beautiful is the body of Christ
and as he laid down his life, we offer this sacrifice
that we may live just as he died:
willing to pay the price, willing to pay the price
How beautiful the heart that bled
that took all my sins and bore instead
How beautiful the tender eyes
that chose to forgive and never despise
How beautiful the radiant bride
that waits for her groom with his light in her eyes
How beautiful when humble hearts give
the fruit of their life that others may live.
(Refrain)
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful.
How Beautiful is the body of Christ
and as he laid down his life, we offer this sacrifice
that we may live just as he died:
willing to pay the price, willing to pay the price
How beautiful the feet that bring
the sound of good news and the love of the king
How beautiful the hands that serve
the wine and the bread and the sons of the earth
(Refrain)
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful.
